PCMUSICENT

We are a BDS Reporting Station, the data that we provide is used to help built the industry-standard radio airplay music charts at Billboard, Airplay Monitor, and Canadian Music Network magazines.

What exactly does BDSradio (formerly Nielsen DBS) do?

BDSradio aggregates airplay. According to them, BDSradio captures in excess of 100 million song detections annually on more than 1,600 radio stations, satellite radio and cable music channels in over 140 markets in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and 30 Canadian markets.

How can this help me as an artist or my label?

The daily reports generated by BDSradio are accessed and reviewed by a variety of industry insiders. These include radio execs, record company leaders, publishers, promoters, retailers, artist managers, and many more. They scan these reports for trending and potentially up & coming artists. Aside from making you visible on the Airplay charts themselves, you want the opportunity to be visible to these insiders.

What do I need BEFORE I submit my song/s with PCMUSICENT?

1) Your single must be registered with soundscan

2) ISRC Codes and UPC Code for your single. (If you do not have ISRC Codes - We can help!)

3) You will need to create MP3 versions of your songs and have them stripped of all artwork & ID3 META Data ready to upload to them. (Nearly 100% of files we see in our daily work have some kind of META data hidden inside them. We can help!)

*You can still submit your songs without the required information but keep in mind plays will not be charted.*
